Wow! Both are amazing! I love the green toning on the ‘63, and love the reddish-pink rainbow toning on the ‘64. Both are clean-looking coins, which is rare for toned Washington quarters. Reminds me of my toned ‘54 Quarter.

    The ‘63 is a 4.1
    The ‘64 is a 4.2

Happy New Year to all! :)

We will extend the quarters I posted for at least another day or two to give more people a chance to opine.

That 63 would be a serious monster if it weren't for the fat fingers that once held it. LOL. Still nice 4.7
    The 64 is perty. 4.8

If I remember things correctly, which I don't always...
The absolute ridiculous most monstrous toners that exist are referred to as "moose" toners.
    Anyone else remember hearing that?

Yes you remember correctly; some refer to the top monsters as "moose"

Thanks for tagging me @ddddd. I had been meaning to get caught up on this thread. I like the colors on that 63 more than the 64. Also being that it’s gem the eye appeal is better. Always love that you regularly post videos which really help to show the in hand look. Happy New Year everybody!

@ddddd my apologies, on both your quarters I’m on a different path then most I have seen. Both of those quarters are amazing and the colors are spectacular. Personally I’m sitting at a 5 on the 63 only because the obv is the only side with amazing colors and the rev is just blast white. I’m at a 5.4 on the 64, that quarter is gorgeous. Great colors on the obv and the rev has some light colors that I’m sure are rather pleasing to look at.

Ok, a world coin for a change. 1983 Canada Edmonton World University Games dollar PCGS proof 67 Dcam. Coin looks just like Trueview—see my crummy slab photo.

The toning on that just seems a bit underwhelming for me. I am also not really a fan of the design which is probably also pulling the eye appeal down.

Quarters are still in play and so is the Canadian coin.

My score on the Canadian is 3.2....it's a nice arc of color but I'm simply not that high on it since the Canadian Dollars from the 1970s-1980s can have a fantastic array of colors. I don't recall seeing this particular coin before, so that helps it.

I’m really not into that Canadian $1. The toning on that is not pretty at all. I’m at 1.0 on that one.
