I’m at 4.9 on the IHC for exactly the reasons that @brg5658 illustrated in his post. I was never happy with the coin and had to flood the surface with light to get those colors to show up, and for a $5K coin, if you aren’t happy, it’s gotta go. I sold it shortly after I bought it.

Anything with nearly 100% vibrant emerald green toning on the obverse is an automatic MONSTER! That blows my Battle Creek out of the water.

I have seen the coin in person at an auction in Las Vegas. No, I did not bid on it, because it is out of my league. One of the most magnificent toners out there. It is a 6.5. The green is truly electrifying. This coin looks even better in hand, than the photos.

Just for the record, it originally was bought for $1000 in 2009. Sold in 2012 for $6000. Recently, in the past couple of years, it went privately for $25,600. Not quite the $93,550 of the Moose, but major league prices.

 

Just imagine that coin in a new holder and a professional photograph. At least we found another coin besides the moose that everyone agrees is a MONSTER. Well done!

 

A wildly stunning coin. It's a pity that professional images aren't available for it as @Lehigh96 noted. That thing would go for moon money if it were in a new slab with Mark Goodman photos!
