Guess I should’ve chosen pieces I have never photographed or discussed online to base my quiz questions around. Other

But other instant giveaways have been over too quickly, so I wanted to make this one more challenging, to last a day or three. But

However, it seems some folks didn’t like the guessing game format. Ah well, that’s why my regular monthly contests are random drawings instead.

And it seems we had a super sleuth on the job. ;)

Congrats, @dano. Pick your prize and send me a PM with your shipping address. :)

You know @lordmarcovan, you might want to ask other active forum members for numismatic factoids that are unique to themselves. That should make any instant giveaway contest much more interesting, considering most of us don't have a massive digital trail of evidence like you. For instance, what's the block combination on my first large-sized note? I'm sure that'll keep you guessing for quite some time.

I totally missed this instant contest but thoroughly enjoyed reading everyones responses and seeing who won.

    Congratulations to @dano.

    Good work! : )

Look at the red text in your own quote there, Cheech. Contest closed. ;)

You’ve gotta be quick on the instant giveaways!

PS- yeah, I got tired of digging those 1916-D dimes and 1804 dollars. Seems like every third Merc I dug... dangit! Another ‘16-D! Oh well, maybe I’ll get a ‘44-P next time! :hilarious:

I stopped counting after the twentieth 1804 dollar I dug. Borrring!

Rob, received the quarters on Friday. Absolutely love the 1915-D Barber and 1929 SLQ. They will make excellent additions to my collection.
Thank you again for running this and all the other contests!

Great! Thanks for playing! Your cleverness and my absentmindedness about my Internet footprint paid off that time! ;):)
