4/21/21: This contest is now CLOSED. Winner was announced in Post #80.

Here is a 50-billion-dollar ($50,000,000,000!) banknote from Zimbabwe, printed at the height of their hyperinflation in 2008.

Yes, this is a genuine currency note.

No, you couldn't hop on a plane and fly to Zimbabwe and live like a king for the rest of your days with it. These are demonetized now, so they're no longer legal tender. Even when they were, I suspect they weren't worth a whole lot due to the rampant inflation.

But boy, they're sure fun. Get a load of all those zeros!

Want it? Here's all you have to do.

This is an "instant" giveaway, meaning the contest ends as soon as somebody guesses the secret number I just drew with the random number generator.

Guess the secret number and the exact note shown above will be yours, and you will have become an instant multi-billionaire.*

(*In obsolete Zimbabwe dollars, of course.)

Just pick a number between one and fifty billion.

    Haha. Joking!

OK, how about picking a number between 1 and 50? First person to guess the secret number wins it.

PS- you may make multiple guesses, as long as at least two other people have posted a guess between each of yours.

I'm going to pick 3 because 1 Zimbabwean dollar is equal to 0.0027631943 USD...or 0.003 if you round up :)
    Yay inflation!

D’oh! I totally overlooked that! :banghead:

    Sounded good to me. LOL

(I’m a bit crispy myself, having just come off graveyard shift.)

Wouldn’t have impressed the 1-50 random number generator very much, though... :p

    Try again, Randy. ;)

What if I had really done that? What would the random number generator have said? And how long would it have taken for someone to guess that number?

    Hmm... let’s see...

    Ah, OK.

Nope! Get outta here! I ain’t playin’ that foolishness!”

That’s what the random number generator would’ve said. :hilarious:

I'm in the middle of my Korean class right now...Should be translating a passage about Japan releasing nuclear waste water into the Pacific and China's reaction to it...I just can't bring myself to do it though.
