    I was working my way through the proofs from 1936-2010, but I seem to have taken a 3 month break. Here's a 1975-S.

    Believe it or not I think this is my first ever Lincoln purchase. Seems to be a tougher date in gem? People needed to spend these in 1931!

    Yes, very tough coin, especially in red. I looked for a red one for over a decade and this is closest I got:

    On the 22's. If the obverse is good. The reverse are worn. Thats just the way they were made. They ran the heck out of those dies in 1922. Oops. Super find. Very lucky

    1977-S Proof. I have seen these spots on coins in the original packaging, too.

    1978-S Proof. The lack of detail in the Lincoln Memorial's steps is just appalling.
