I just found this in a CoinStar reject hopper I was groping. Just LOOK at those wheat stalks! LOL After looking at it a bit it’s not to worn a coin maybe VF20 under all the crap THIS IS A JOKE NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
352sdeer This one would've been a nice one for this thread. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/environmental-damage-or-works-of-art.289634/ USMC60
He's new he has to learn the ropes Still waiting to see them certified rim burrs PS I believe that I showed a documented rim burr.
I can see the coin articles now. Environmental damaged 43 s copper Lincoln cent found in Coinstar reject bin. Most likely it's a very worn 43 Steely. I'm no expert though.
I didn’t mean for anybody to think is copper it not just enviro damaged steel. If it was copper I’d be on Vacation right now not posting this!
Winner winner Chicken dinner. And like I said in VF20 it is not very worn just mildly worn. Maybe I should ask the dippers if I can make it better. We could strip it, sand blast it, then acid dip it. Now that will bring her up to MS67 CAC I think! Then all we have to do is replate it an no one will be the wizzer, oops I mean wiser.
Thank you for the polite answer. More of these are needed I’ve noticed in other treads. And it is just an old enviro damaged steelie so I’ll keep it or give it to a collecting youth. I just don’t sell. I’d rather give it away.
too bad it's not a copper 1943-S cent (or a 1965 silver dime) https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1965-silver-dime-ms66.306678/
