Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like.

The prize for this contest will be your choice of an item from one of the following three categories.

    Pick one of the following:

    Ancient Category (Coin A)

Roman Empire: bronze As of Claudius, ca. 41-54 AD; Libertas reverse
    imageedit_12_6704630361.png

    World Category (Coin B)

German States (Hamburg): silver 8-schilling of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, 1727-IHL
    [IMG]

    United States Category (Coin C)

United States: silver Morgan dollar, 1882

To enter: all you have to do is say that you want in, and specify which item you would like if you should happen to win the random drawing. Also a word or two about why you want it, or some other coin-related comment of your choice. Only one entry post per contestant, please.

You may enter on someone else's behalf if you do not desire the prize for yourself. Simply state who you would like to receive it, should your entry win the drawing.

The drawing will be held sometime on or after April 1, 2023, depending on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the random drawing.

Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only obligation is that I ask that if you win, please post to this thread later, when you have received the prize, so that we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track).

    Good luck!

    Numismatic regards,

    ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM")

Thanks for another contest, @lordmarcovan! Please count me in!

I was going to go for the Ancient, but as I looked at the 8-shilling, it just looks too cool to pass up. If I win, I'd like the 8-shilling.

    Thank you!

I want in for coin B! I primarily collect ancient coins but as others have pointed out, it's too pretty to not put in an entry for it. My only other german states coin is from 1914, which I have a picture of. I really like german coins, and I should start getting more of them. That said, I should stick to one thing at a time and keep working on the Antonine dynasty. I may have to skip over Aelius, though, his coins are quite expensive (as one could assume). I could probably live with that, though, since he was never and Augustus. 1914AMarkOBV.jpg 1914AMarkREV.jpg

I Want In!!Since the walker and ancient are out I'll definitely go for coin B since I am a German descendent(specifically)Hamburg. One of our family members made a book about our family's 300 year history thanks to modern DNA it's so interesting. So how did my family reach the U.S?First class on the Queen Marry to New York in the 30's and they owned a book store as a start.

Entry Post for coin B. Like @expat , this is my third entry for this coin. I think third time is a charm HAS to work for one of us, right?!

In my downtime on this vacation with the boy, I peruse the different auction sites that I’m registered in and “track” all sorts of coins that I find appealing. I don’t even have to bid on any as for me it’s just a fun way to “window shop”.
