    Let's head south to Argentina.

This beautiful 28 mm medal was struck by the Italian community in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It commemorated the 50th anniversary of Italian unification on September 20, 1911.

I acquired it for the princely sum of $12.65, from an eBay seller in - not surprisingly - Argentina.

    That seemed a no-brainer.

    "A bit north"? LOL ;)

    That's quite a bit north!

I looked at a map, though. I think you could draw a straight line from the Falkland Islands to Iceland, barely missing the jutting-out part of Brazil. Quite a journey!

Edit: no, on second look, I don't think so- Brazil sticks out too far.

Anyway, let's sail SW to Canada.

Indeed. It sticks out by over 600 miles! You can only just hit the tip of Britain without going over Brazil.

@BlackBeard_Thatch - man, I love that cob! I want another one.

Let's go to Honduras- sort of (since that borders on Nicaragua). This coin is from British Honduras, which I suppose corresponds more to the modern state of Belize.

So next play from either Honduras or Belize, as you wish.

That play is not allowed as there is no direct path from Nicaragua to British Honduras. So we are still at Nicaragua.

Well, you'd need a time machine to get to British Honduras, anyway.
