Let's go to Guadeloupe, with the potentially lucky token cherrypick I made recently and posted this morning.
Let's go across the border into Colombia. Here's a 1798-P/JF gold escudo of Charles IV of Spain which used to be on my old "Holey Gold Hat" of avatar fame. The "P" mintmark indicates Popayán, so this particular Spanish colonial coin gets cataloged under Colombia. The "JF" was the mintmaster's initials, but I haven't found out his name.
Lovely Peruvian. Let's visit Bolivia. Bolivia (Spanish Colonial): silver "cob" type 1-real coin of Charles II, 1694 VR, Potosí mint PCGS VF25; population 1 - the only example graded by PCGS as of 6/16/2018.
South Africa is right next to Namibia. This 1993 mint set of the first Namibian coinage should be hitting @Dougmeister's mailbox right about now. It was part of his August giveaway winnings that I forgot to ship before my hiatus. It was sent to me by a kind CoinTalk member in Namibia itself. (Sorry for my pictures)
Lucky Dougmeister! That looks awesome. Absolutely no need to apologize for the photos; they served their purpose. Best regards to all! David
