    Yes, the Venezuelan coin is a 5-Bolívares, not a 1-Bolivar. I goofed. .900 fine silver, not .835.

    So actually, better a thing than my initial erroneous description made it.

    I would love the world coin pack, so I'm entering. While I do think the porcelain coin is cool (and one of the best condition ones I've ever encountered), I'm actually looking forward to adding another Venezuela coin to my collection. :D

    Enter me please.
    A tough choice. I like the Bolivar and the Morgan Dollar!:)
    But I guess between the two I would choose the Morgan Dollar.
    I've read online:
    "FOR TWO CENTURIES, from the 1700s until World War I, the average wage for one day’s unskilled labor in America was one dollar." “Another day, another dollar…”

    It is interesting to think about how this dollar was what someone would work an entire day for, and how much it would purchase for them.
    Today our paper dollars don't buy very much, but this silver dollar was of great value.

    They're part of a very large menagerie. Four dogs and more than a dozen cats. Those two are part of the housecat contingent.

    Most of my monthly giveaways have a "spokescritter" of some kind.

    I want that Claudius! I really like Claudius after listening to a podcast about him, probably one of my favorite Julio-Claudians. My collection hasn't grown much so I don't have any new coins to post, but trust me- That will change very soon.
