(2 coins) Venezuela: silver 5-Bolívares, 1929, & Germany (Saxony): notgeld 50 pfennig, 1921, in red Meissen porcelain The 1929 Venezuelan 5-Bolívares (Numista-10340) is a respectable silver dollar-sized coin struck under contract by the US Mint in Philadelphia. The porcelain notgeld coin from the German state of Saxony is pretty interesting. Its design shows a viticulture scene (wine grapes and a shovel). It is quite thick. It features the crossed-swords logo of the Meissen porcelain works.
