    These two are the World Coin prize option (Lot #2) in my Giveaway #88. (Enter the contest on the linked thread, please, not here.)

    There is an Ancient category and a US category as well, should either of those prizes (Lot #1 or Lot #3) appeal to you more.

    (2 coins) Venezuela: silver 5-Bolívares, 1929, & Germany (Saxony): notgeld 50 pfennig, 1921, in red Meissen porcelain

    The 1929 Venezuelan 5-Bolívares (Numista-10340) is a respectable silver dollar-sized coin struck under contract by the US Mint in Philadelphia.

    The porcelain notgeld coin from the German state of Saxony is pretty interesting. Its design shows a viticulture scene (wine grapes and a shovel). It is quite thick. It features the crossed-swords logo of the Meissen porcelain works.

    Nice offer. But one quibble: the 5 obligate is 90% silver. It’s right on the coin (Lei 900).

    Thanks. And yep, I had it as a 1-Bolivar, not a 5-Bolívares. Fixed.
