I really don't think you do give me a hard time. In fact, I would be very surprised if you acted any differently than you do. Not meaning for that to reflect on you personally, it has nothing to do with you personally. It is just pretty much every new collector that has ever been does the same things you do. I've seen that same thing a thousand times. And that is the reason that I keep on trying.

I mean you no ill will, and hope only the best happens for you, in all things, not just this hobby. All I can do is try to help you, give you the best advice I can give you, and hope that it works out. But if you're like the rest of us, including me, you're gonna to learn a few lessons the hard way before you learn any the easy way.

Sorry to give you such a hard time on the forums, it's just my nature when trying to argue a point across. Have a nice day :)

Right now you are posting messages to me personally, that can only be seen by those who visit my profile page. This is a post made by you - http://www.cointalk.com/t46417/ -

You make 10 of those, and then you can use the Open and Auction sections,

Once you have 10 posts on the forum, you will be able list coins you;d like to buy, sell or trade in the Open Forum section.

But please read the forum rules so you understand what the limits are and how the process works.

      Hi Doug,
I am really enjoying and learning alot in your forum. I wondered if you would give your opinion on my 1936D 3 and a half leg buffalo nickel. I have it posted in the US Coins grading section. More opinions the better I think. thanks a bunch

      Evening,

In a thread last week or so I mentioned having trouble looking up a couple of things.

I don't seem to be having ANY problems now. Hopefully I said back then "that it's probably me".... because it was. Tried both items and worked like a charm.

You also asked if there was anything in particular that I needed to know. Thanks for asking, but the research that I have done, this forum especially and the articles I've read ended up being more help than anything. Thanks for reinforcing that.

I just wanted to get the background on the modest US Coins and the 20 or so countries or World Coins that I now have. If I do sell them, I wish to be well informed as to their history ( country, era and coin ), "fabric", provenance and value.

And you offering to help, well you're doin' it! Every day.

      Thanks again,

      Mike

Doug, please review my thread, "disappearing penny's" and also please have Peter review it. Now I just received an "infraction" notice from Speedy. I am assuming this is some youngster who still has not yet learned what a Political Comment is. There seems to be far to many immaturity for my taste as of late. Thanks Tom.
