To me this has the looks like a Justin II, & wife Sophia however the reverse does
not seem to match that couple, it is suggested this is a:
    Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, -- Romanus I AD 913-959. 25mm 5,3g.
however I am unable to confirm that as no reference has been found...
I could use some help in this regard??

@dltsrq already nailed it but I just wanted to piggyback on and say that is a cool coin :)

Thank you so much Grumpy & Frog, it is always such a pleasure knowing when
I am up against a wall in my access to certain coin questions, I have found a solution is readily available here at coin-talk...!
I very much prefer to do for myself whatever I can, as I of course do not wish to ever abuse this forum, however I am always impressed, no matter what time I post my need (2,3,or 4am.) an answer or at least a response inevitably shows up within an hour or so, which is beyond my belief, when I have spent several hours myself doing my own DnD to no avail.... Thanks again to all..!!

Oh boy, here we go again, did I not thank you enough of something, I am sure sorry that you feel this way however I have explained myself as clear as I can previously. Not looking to get into a tit for tat messaging
about this, again If I have offended you is some way for that my apologies...

Why would you create an entire ad for me?? You even inflated the shipping price incorrectly, this took some work...!

No, not that you didn't thank me enough. The fact that you used information freely given with the intent to help what we (at least I) assumed to be a fellow collector to then go and hawk the coin in question on your ebay page is kinda crappy.
I've never run across you on this forum previously so I didn't know what you were about. However, now I do.

I am located in Europe. Seems that this is what ebay shows for your shipping to Europe. In case you did not know, now you do.
On a positive note, let's just give credit to @dltsrq . It shows a big trust to validate his attribution with your thumb print.
You won't need to worry for me interfering further with your posts, because i will not see them.

I thought the highlight of this was 'Grumpy and Frog' (perhaps a Bluegrass duo???) but the ad was enjoyable even if it marked the frog becoming grumpy as well. For the record: Anyone who asks a question and does not mention the fact that their only interest in the answer is furthering their immediate listing on eBay is not going to be well received in some circles. We work cheap but no one likes to be 'used'. Had the posting started with, "I am hoping to sell this piece of garbage on eBay and need your help making sure I am identifying it correctly so I don't cheat someone too badly", you probably would have got the same answer with less acrimony.

I don't have that type (and would like one but...). The same duo also issued some nice gold coins but I only have this one that combines gold and copper in a nefarious manner. When I see a coin like this I can't help but wonder which body part its maker had cut off when he was discovered.

I had brought up this before here about @Steven Michael Gardner doing this same exact thing. I have followed his posts closely without making any more comments on his posts. Some of the members here defended Him with His questions here to authenticate his coins and sell them on E-Bay so I left it alone.
I can tell you that this Forum has been a very good resource for him to sell his authenticated coins on E-bay. Also can tell you He has not contributed in anyway to help out in this forum either.

Scummy. Only using people's knowledge, and generosity with that knowledge, to make a buck while not doing anything to add to the collective group knowledge here.

@bcuda In the future, maybe you could make a simple post asking "is this coin part of your collection or is it for your eBay store?". Seems like a way around any confrontation and will allow members to chose to help or not.

As others have said, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with collectors to help them learn and grow in the hobby. When I was young, people spent time helping me, and I feel it's only right to give something back. HOWEVER, if somebody wants to immediately make a buck off that knowledge, shouldn't there be some sort of compensation? While the OP does seem grateful for the info, is a warm thank you adequate?

I just left it alone and thought it was better that way.

I do believe if you are going to be here on this forum asking for help then you should be here trying to help also. You could be a supporter of this forum if your using it to make a profit at least don't you think.

Is this some kind of personal vendetta of yours?
Don't throw stones while in a glass house..!
Tell me please, who on this forum collects any coins and have not eventually sold, bartered or traded some, let them please feel free to be the first to cast your critiquing my way.
However many opinions there are, there also are reasons why many individuals post on this forum, Unlike what was said, I have started several discussions just for the heck of it, is it something that I do regularly, No... When it comes to providing useful information for others, I am more than happy to do so, and have, however not until after the more knowledgeable regulars have already solved the issue, usually within the first 24 hours, I simply do not log on very often, and frankly I feel no need to reinforce or parrot there excellent answers with a reconfigured version of my own.
This quick response facet is what I love best about this forum, however I am not on the forum every night, once a week or two tops, and yes, I admit most of the times that I am on this forum it is to solve a problem I am having with a coin ID...
And No I do not sell all the coins that I consult the forum with so please don't something that is not..!

If I do try to sell some of my coins, the last thing I would ever wish to do is provide incorrect information on the COA that you so helpfully provided for all to see, thank you for that rule breaking tid-bit of advertising to my Ebay location.!
Some may joke about my COA, and that's fine, I have never claimed to be a numismatist nor do I sport a degree in the field, and being realistic, just how many can actually say that they graduated from coin school, few I know, that knowledge is gained over the long haul of time consumingly being in contact coins of your interest, and asking questions on this forum is a primary learning experience, any information that I receive through this forum is passed on to others that I give, trade or yes even sell coins to, so it is not like I am not doing a bit of educating as well...

This same opinionated topic was mentioned to me prior to this particular posting, and I explained in much detail what my background & knowledge about coins was, I had assumed, wrongly perhaps, that this matter was put to bed, I even began all of my posts with the "I will be selling this coin". Conversely I received just as many responses to a question as I do without such disclosure, and then there is the forum rules that state I am not to advertise or try to sell on the forum, so I then have to explain myself further to clarify, after several posts this way I felt this disclosure had become somewhat
redundant and a non-factor, again I apparently was wrong about this for some..!
I realize no matter how forthright an opinion someone has & posts, there will always be those called "haters" out there that only enjoy making a simple opinion into a debating contest, that's not for me...!
As you said "I have followed his posts closely without making any more comments on his posts." Please continue to follow your own good advice..!

I have chatted with many forum members that have provided help for me over time, and I have found there are some that actually enjoy searching out a difficult ID coin reference, kinda like treasure hunt, puzzle I guess, it's a win-win and I see
    not a thing amiss there..?
Listen, when and if I post for help to ID a coin, and you know that I have sold some coins in the past, (like you haven't) please just put me on ignore, don't provide an answer if your answers are so valuable for you, however to purposefully respond with unhelpful and critical comments to the point of hijacking my COA from another site, and placing it here on this forum, thus infringing the forum advertising concerns, only typifies how bitter some individuals can be.

You can have my thumb print on that...!
