What is your favorite 1 oz government issued silver and why? Please rank from 1 to 5. We should add up the point total to see what is most popular. Lowest point total wins. Forum, am I missing anything from my list of what meets these criteria? I believe there are only 5 different 1 oz government issued silver bullion coins. US: Eagle Canada: Maple Austria: Philharmonic Australia: Kangaroo (Perth Mint is authorized by Australian government and is located in Australia) UK: Britannia (I have excluded Pandas because they are less than 1 oz. I have also excluded Armenian, Somali, and other silver bullion that is issued by mints located outside of the country) My ranking 1. Silver Maple Great design, high security, modest premium 2. Silver Britannia Great design, lower premium, varying designs make it a little more collectible for me. 3. American Silver Eagle Classic beautiful design. A little too big for my liking. Can be boring to me seeing the same US designs I see every day in my spending money. 4. Australian Kangaroo Looks like a poker chip, too big, but the Kangaroo is pretty 5. Austrian Philharmonic BORING and plain edges
