That was my thought as well, would be nice to understand the process, and what a X graded coin looks like compared to a Y graded one, etc.
If you're going to get a coin graded PCGS & NGC have the most credibility. You can check them out at your LCS.
If I were you, I would only grade one coin and go through the whole process yourself meaning no need to send them through your LCS. You want it to be a true learning experience so send it directly to the grading company yourself.
Get them graded if you want to them in a holder or keep them raw. if you go to sell them just be prepared you might not get a premuim in return if graded as many bullion stackers do not like graded coins but on the other hand many eagle collectors see the bullion coins worthy of adding to the proof ones they have and would pay a premuim for graded coins. Really its what you like at the end of the day.
Put it a 'cointain'..........it's bloody bullion and buyers of such don't give a 'hang' for conditional numbers. They just want them bright and shinny.
