I hear you on the St. Gaudens, I would love a couple pre-33 gold pieces. maybe a type set one of each.

I went to JM Bullion and saw several Pre-33 Saint Gaudens. I saw a 1908 MS64 for at $2,300 which is closer to the amount I would spend. I saw another MS64 for a little less, but no date. What's it like ordering from them? How long does it take to get the coin(s)? I bought a coin from another online dealer and I started getting calls frequently until I told him I was interested.

I know what I'll do with my $1,400 that the Senate just passed. It has to go to the House of Representatives next. The Democrats are sure that the President will sign it. Not that there will be a need for Republican support on the bill, there's almost a 100% of them against it. There's also going to be a cap on the amount of money you make.

Basically you just go online, add what you want to your cart, place your order, pay, and that's about it.

    It's pretty easy.

I've ordered from them dozens of times and they never called me or anything like that. I just got an email when it shipped and then it arrived a few days later.

Right now they're recommending paying $4.99 for UPS 3 day shipping but you can get FREE shipping with USPS if you want it's just that USPS is having delays right now so that's why JMB is recommending paying $4.99 to go with UPS 3 Day.

The cap on the amount of money you make has alot of loopholes.

For example someone can sell their stocks at a loss, write them off, and their adjusted gross income will be low enough to get it.

Or they can increase contributions to their retirement IRA and write those off.

I think alot of people will be doing that kind of loophole stuff.

The prices I get from my LCS are a lot cheaper than online dealers. Normally I can get a very nice raw St. Gaudens for around $50 over spot. Slabbed coins, my LCS normally doesn't have but he has an XRF scanner and will scan the coin in question so you know what you're getting.

Will I need to sign for coin purchases with JM Bullion?
My wife and I are retired state employees plus we get social security income. With the change in the standard deduction, it does reduced the AGI, but my wife was a teacher for 34 years and I was an accountant with the State Controllers Office for 30 something years. With the combination of that, it all depends what the cap will be. I heard several amounts. If it's lower than $100k, we are SOL. I heard another figure of $140K. Any information on that? Am I getting to off the mark here. I appreciate all of your help.

No LCS in the podunk we live in. Houses are paid for. 4 cars, 6 dogs, and a cat. No deductions there.

The closest to an LCS is about 50 miles away. I'll have to google Raleigh to see what they have.

You have to sign for UPS delivery of the package when it is delivered to your home but that’s it.

It makes sense because they don’t want people saying they didn’t get their package and then trying to get free gold & silver by making JMB refund the purchase or ship it again.

My delivery person just asks my last name and hands it to me.

But that’s about it. They’ll retry delivery too if you’re not there.

Last I heard the cap is supposed to be like $80,000 per person or $160,000 for a couple.

It's because the US dollar collapse is imminent. So prices of other currencies are sky rocketing.

Yeah…. The whole sky is falling narrative gets sorta worn out when you been around the block as much as we have…. See how many I can remember….. California was falling in the ocean in the 1980’s. The Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world in the 1990’s. The computers wouldn’t know how to make the transition from 1999 to 2000 so all would be chaos at 12:01 January 1st 2000…… That’s just what comes off the top of my fading brain pan.

    Nope. That's bogus. Absolutely bogus.

Tens, hundreds of thousands of coders, testers, and others worked incredibly long hours to remediate billions of lines of code so that "nothing happened".

Of course, if you want to say that organizations are stupid and don't learn from the past until their noses are rubbed into it like a puppy peeing in the house, I couldn't argue with that...
