There are several good companies out there, and for sure I cant name them all if you dont see yours for sure let us know, I buy my Gold Krugerrand's at my LCS, they just have a much better year by year selection most dealers sell random dates, besides my LDS, I have been buying allot from APMEX, and so far its been really good they just seem to have more in stock coins and have date by date Krugers with a few good dates, name your favorite.
I've bought from a few on the list. Apmex probably more then the others. I prefer private party transactions.
I buy at shows if I see a good price or something neat. Mostly at the LCS, Skyland Coin, Bristol, Va. ASEs for stacking. Gold jewelry for my wife. I've got 10 Kreugers and a couple of AGE.
I have more 90% silver than bullion, as the premiums are too high for my taste. Also, constitutional silver is just easier to come by too. But I admit, I like the designs on a lot of bullion coins and have a couple myself.
Any place where I can get it well below spot. As a result, I don't buy much, and don't buy very predictably.
I like JM Bullion. They are cheaper than a lot of my local coin shops and I can shop from home and have my orders shipped. Sometimes I buy on APMEX when they have coins I like that JMB doesn’t but bullion is just too expensive to buy from them.
In the past I've gone to Apmex and Liberty coin but my first stop is always my LCS as that's where I can get way better prices than anywhere else. It pays to have a really good relationship with your LCS otherwise you're throwing water in the wind!(ツ)
I like JM bullion as well however they barely have anything stock, just go to there page everything is alert me...LOL, I usaualy buy from APMEX on ebay, allot Times they dont have the same stuff.
SD Bullion usually has some of the lowest prices. I’ve ordered from them many times over the years and have always had good service. For the big dealers I buy from whoever has the lowest price. It also pays to watch the BST board here. People often sell near spot but those lots go pretty fast.
1 up for SD, I have bought from them before and have excellent shipping time, it been my experience that they get there items out same day
I've bought primarily from JM Bullion, though after reading through some of these posts, maybe I need to shop around a bit more. I have been happy with their service, though.
JM is exceptional, but sometimes there stock is a bit limited, one of things I like about APMEX is there vast selection of Krugerrands most just sell random dates they offer specific years and thats a good thing as thats what I invest in.
