I have a few "end games" as follows:

1) coins - these are for my enjoyment. Yes, they will hold at minimum their PM contents value. I open the safe, I take them out, marvel at my own exquisite tastes and ability to collect such beauty. I rub them through their air-tites, slabs, or mint packaging, wipe the fingerprints off, and put them away. I will never sell these, and my daughter will one day inherit them. and her children. and so on. and hopefully one day, one of my future descendants will say "gee, great grandpappy rysherms was a cool old dude".

for example, i am not retiring because of the coins in the picture. but when you arrange all 6 of those like that; they are flippin beautiful. im not selling it. and i dont know how many people have all 6 of those. maybe the set of 5, maybe the 1, but i doubt all 6. i like it.

2) Bar Bullion - this is my true investment. I sell off my useless crappola on feebay and buy bars. I invest a portion of my own "paycheck fiat" when I think the prices are reasonable and buy more bars. I stack them in the safe. I do not sell them. One day, I may. depends on how my other investments go or what immature decisions I make that causes me to need to sell a 10 ounce bar for bail money. Hopefully I wont have to and they will follow me around until they get passed along with the coins.

PMs are not a "get rich quick scheme' and if you are investing RIGHT NOW AT THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME MOMENT like so many people like Mike Maloney, David Morgan, Chris Duane, blah blah blah insist that you do, you are making the wrong investment. sure, you may time your purchases at the right moment and sell at the other to see a great profit. but chances are you dont have enough fiat right now to dump into them for that to multiply in this once in a lifetime growth rate that is just about to explode to be able to "get rich and retire".
