Since this pertains not only GOLD bullion and GOLD coins will posting this in the U.S coin forum as well, believe it or no theres some members that dont cross over...........LOL The Long Beach coin expo is coming up in a few weeks and I am getting my want list ready which includes the following coins: 1. Select date Krugerrands 2. Wells Fargo, Nev labeled GOLD 1908, would like to find a 66+ ( CAC ) OGH ( PCGS ) 3. $20 Liberty 1881- S ( the Tombstone coin as I call It ) 4. 2001-W GOLD EAGLE PRDCAM 70 ( PCGS ) 5. $20 Liberty 1853/2 AU 55 - 58 (PCGS) I am hoping to knock atleast a couple coins of that list
I have a few, but would depend on my $$$: An MCMVII High Relief Saint, probably AU-58 An MS-66 OGH 1908 No Motto Saint. A common Liberty Double Eagle A semi-scarce Liberty DE or Proof DE that shows the basined fields and reflectivity of the obverse. A dated Kruggerand, 1960's ideally. A Chinese Panda, any year
Of course...if I win PowerBall or Mega Millions ...you can add an MCMVII UHR...the Norweb 1908-S MS-67 CAC Saint.....a couple of Carson City Liberty Double Eagles... a few dozen Kruggerands, Pandas, Eagles, Maple Leafs, Pandas, and early-20th Century European gold....and a beach house to house them all.
Not sure what post you are referring to...but yes, all Double Eagles are pre-1933.... but there are other coins that are pre-1933 that aren't DEs. Indian Heads, Half Eagles, etc.
I have more to add to the list, I dont have any $10 liberties and would like to get a couple eventually but have you seen those prices..LOL out of sight ! I found this nice example its a 62 but it looks pretty good and distraction free, what you think ?
