It depends what your goal is, investing is investing, the quality of the coin Doesnt really matter, just like silver you could have a coin that is just awful Looking but its still worth 1 oz of either Gold or Silver, if you have to have a Mint state coin or you want to have a presentation piece and you want to Have a pretty coin teh 24K version will serve you well, the Queens beast Series is 24K so you get a little more shine over the 22K
But, the OP didn't ask if our choice was for investment purposes. He just asked for our selection and reason for it. I'd rather have the .9999 Maple because there is less chance of spots surfacing. I couldn't look at a gold coin and tell you if it was 24K or 22K, but I could sure as heck see a copper spot on it. Chris
One Statement doesnt fit all, the question was what would you choose and Why ? to answer that question effectively, you have to first answer the Question of purpose, be it an investment or part of a collection, two huge Differences.
Who appointed you the OP's mouthpiece? He just asked for each individual's reason for their selection. I GAVE HIM MINE! YOU HAVE YOURS! Chris
The OP asked for my opinion and I gave it. You obviously disagree and that is your privilege but you do not have the right to question my opinion. I fail to understand why you aren't questioning the opinions of others. Please limit your opinion to the OP's question and stop question my opinion.
I WOULD PICK (f) because I have none of them.. I would think any choice you wouldn't go wrong. but understand now why the Maple was chosen though.. as one.
I,am not questioning your opinion, that,s yours to keep, and if you like the Maple that,s great, i am simply asking why you think its better quality then The others ?
No one appointed me anything...LOL, there are simply reasons you choose Something and that was the point i was trying to get across.
Maple Leaf for reasons others gave. BTW, gold isn't that soft. In the movies when you see them "bite" a coin to see if it is real gold, they aren't looking to see a tooth mark, but for the absence of a tooth mark. Lead and lead alloy would be heavy, but would leave a tooth mark. Finally 22K gold is 91.67%.
The OP clearly said.... “They all have the same oz and same value. Which one would you pick and why?” Is there really a huge difference....why are they mutually exclusive..?
Am I the only one that has this problem on this website...the capitalization and spacing is crazy, makes post really hard to read...probably some of the harder post I’ve ever tried to read....Is this problem on cointalks end or is it on my end, I’ve tried everything to make these post read normal.
