Love the reverse, so how much over spot on that coin ?

 

$36 shipped from MCM. Way over spot but I likes it.

 

So do you invest in the bullion content or the coin itself ? so it looks like 2X over spot is the recoverable ??

 

The coin or in this case the medal. I don't know if it' s recoverable. Too many variables with silver and numismatics.

 

IMO bullion collecting is not that much different from coin collecting. For most people it's both collecting and investing.

If coin collectors were really only interested in collecting for the love of it, why buy high end coins? A circulated coin does the same thing for less. And it's more historical circulated.

With stacking even those who only stack silver as close to spot as possible may still see beauty in silver itself.

The problem is collecting for the love or the beauty of it and collecting to make money are opposing ideas. Maybe that's why this hobby resembles an episode of Smigel and Gollum.

Yeah it really surprised the heck out of me, to be sure, i actually checked around
On line and on the bay and the best i could find was $138.00 plus another $3.00
In shipping, so that is a substantial savings

 

Only had a couple of hundred dollars with me at the time. so i might make a trip

Finally finish my little tube of Englehard bars.

Beat up, scratched, and have black marks all over. I still love them all.

 

Love those englehard bars, any premium on them ?

 

Like the 10 OZ Bars, both of these got at a good price even the Johnson bar
which is suppose to be a premium bar so was happy about that and the price
