And no this isn’t a trick question, as there are a few different ones, there’s 24K .9999 22K .999 ( both have the same price point so value is the same 1 OZ of gold, but what about the sovereign coins looked at a couple today and they were .900, so not sure on value across that range, really not that familiar with sovereigns.
Lately Gold Sovereigns have been selling very well. Many times selling as if they were 24k and they're only 22k.

Historically .999 sells for a premium, all things considered. The reason is when its melted its a better raw material, easier to lower purity than raise it. The market today is anything but normal though.
You got that right, everything is double even triple normal premiums, the question is how long is it going to last ? at this point it’s anybody’s best guess.
