ANOVA is a statistical analysis of Variance program from the larger statistics knowledge base. I used it for three years after I discovered that markets rose 75% of the time on Tuesdays. It dropped to 50 % On Wednesday, and less on ALL OTHER DAYS. After those three wonderful years, I was sitting at home in my PJ's congratulating myself, and Prudential Securities called. They said that I was to be restricted from weekly trades because they felt I was engaging in market timing. I informed him that I was a novice, this was a hobby, and took exception; I didn't have the resources to contact enough insiders to get the skinny he was referring to. I then went on to explain my rules: never trade on Jan 1, or on a triple witching day, or on heavy options maturities days, and a few other days I hold here in reserve. I then explained Analysis of Variance to him, how to plug Dow numbers in, which Sullivan reports to watch (Bloomberg before it was stripped of relevance by the sale of the Dow), and what days to be in or out. I asked what triggered my contact, and he said $25,000 trades more than once a month. I then limited all trades to 24,000, and they went away. If you want to know when others make money most of the time in a bull: Tuesdays. Stay away from holidays, ends of year reporting (unless it's Nova Gold) and be in on Monday night. Then out Tuesday evening. Ss far as inflation is concerned, it's as simple as the Chines and Asia have more money folks. One day they will have to spend their dollars, and guess where? It is cycle stuff, markets, and were eating third world crow. They did for a hundred years while we built our factories. Now it's our turn. Gold and silver will fail and fall, but they will recover. That's when the despair will set in here, because all which will remain for us then is charity of other stronger national currencies. But did I mention Nova Gold? Good for you readers. See and awe at the magnitude of US purchasing power once their holdings come to fruition.
