you know ASE's are about $18-19 a pop on Apmex...you can afford that just stop filling the car with gas everyday and get a pinto or ride a bike :D

Silly rabbit... only a 'Back to the Future' Delorian time machine can go fast enough to get you where you need to go... haulin' bullion in that old gas guzzler is going to deplete your supply of currency or bullion on the price of gasoline to get you going fast enough to return to the time of bullion prices you hope to get back to buy... and don't forget that dealers back then will only take currency from their time period or earlier in payment, so bring your coin collection and leave your moderns at home. :D

HEY! we just sold the same model car to someone for $1000. It was my wifes dead husbands it had only 30,000 miles on it. we put a new battery in it some new gas and it started up first thing and ran like a new car!. The guy really liked it and dropped his wallet 2 times he was in such a hurry to pay us for it. We have 4 new cars and didn't need it ,it sat in the garage for years!.

I drive it under 1000 mi a year, my daily driver is a 97 nissan pickup, 29mpg.
    The riv gets about 9mpg.
I need to convert it to di-lithium, or anti-matter.

If you feel it's inappropriate, bring it to the attention to a Moderator. To start a political discussion in a thread is "inappropriate". :kewl:

Those were huge pictures, but the forum shrunk them. I don't have any pics at an ftp site.

I concur that it's a foolish and offensive choice of avatar and most likely done for attention grabbing and baiting such an 'inappropriate' and/or 'political' discussion. I held my tongue all day on this... almost sounded off earlier... hesitated but decided to show where I stand on it being displayed here. Sure I don't have to look at it and can switch threads, but I already started following/participating in the thread before hand. Sure, it is just an arrangement of bytes on the screen and the web is full of offensiveness but this represents something which is heinous and threatening to humanity. It is rather grotesque as it stands alone without Yankee having made any clear point about his use of the image. Making a protest? Fine, but do speak up, and do not appera to cower behind a symbol or leave it to misinterpretation by others. Just My 2¢.

Do you need premium octane fuel? How is the miles per gallon with that boat?

  17. Captainkirk

It calls for 91 octane, I get about 9 mi/gal. This discussion is in the wrong thread, maybe I'll post in open.
