And isn't attacking people personally in forums kind of against the forum rules? *cough* *cough* troll

Not really fred, I buy with my grandsons in mind and my stash is not for sale, never will be, it's my insurance policy for an un-clear future.

Now put your pom-poms down, turn off Jim Cramer, CNBC and all the other wall street muck your watching.

The bullion forum is more hardcore than other parts of the forums so I'm sure my insults aren't to heavy; besides your a warrior.

But to answer your question I do invest in pm just to a limited extent. However I like to explore all sides of an investment good or bad. I get a bit nervous when I hear rabid gorillas screaming buy pm buy pm at the top of their lungs withought due cause

Atta boy Rush. Someone disagrees with buying pm?
Turn off the Wall Street muck you idiot!

    You sure showed me

    I"m totally a warrior LOL!

Yeah I have been buying just a little bit every paycheck as a 3rd form of investment and savings for myself. Have the normal savings, then the PM then a third investment. I wouldn't ever put all my eggs in one basket. Although I"m not sure you will ever find anyone happy if they loose money so *shrugs*

No arguments there man I like your reasoning and think that's reasonable. In fact it's precisely what I advocate. My voice doesn't reason well with many Edit~ political insult.

PeacePeople Wall St and stocks, where it's at

No, I'm not a PM dealer. I am in fact a silversmith, so I buy a lot of metal, both for fabrication and PMs as a self insuring vehicle.

I don't have a love affair with fallacies. In fact, I do have a love affair with truth, something that I find hard to find in main stream media, Wall St, Washington DC and the like.

I consider myself very rational, I also consider myself responsible and a realist. I pay for the things I buy, my children's education and don't owe anybody a dime. I live a very simple life that is self sustaining. I take serious offense to anybody that acts as if they know who and what I am by my posts here. Especially since you only read those when PM prices are down and I'm defending people purchasing PM. You must miss all of those about what is available, where you can buy them, what they cost, who makes them, and if there are any deals out there when people are looking.

I take serious umbrage to your attacks of me because of my posts. You only read those where I counter the few of you that constantly come here and barrage the people that buy PM when the prices fall, and quite frankly most of your posts are personal attacks, which are against forum rules.

Do you have anything else you'd like to tell me about myself, or preconceive any more ideas about who I am?

See you at the next dip in price, take care of yourself and good luck with your equities.

It seems to me that the run up of silver in the 80's was from a specific event (Hunt Bros) but this time it was from the near collapse of the financial system which put us into a new paradigm which is not truly improving. The stock run-up in the last few years looks like a bubble from all the free money from the fed, which as soon as the bubble bursts the problems will get worse. For investors to think this is business as usual had better be vary wary of what is going to happen to their portfolios in the next few years, but if you can time the market more power to you.

Nope; Alls fair in love war although the nature of my posts aren't really directed towards you; rather this collective phenomenon that has occurred lately that precious metals are always a smart buy.

When Wall-Street took over the NBR [Nightly Business Report] on PBS Thats why my t.v. is now unplugged.

Edited for language and political comments.

I have let much borderline material go, but it is now violating the rules, so last warning. No further language, politics , or other rule violations or the thread will be closed and points taken.

No forum is excused or even partially excused by the rules, so the BI forum does not have relaxed standards.

Once again fred, I don't have equities. I have real objects, much like a squirrel that has nuts hidden away for the future.

    1. the value of the shares issued by a company.

And as long as we tend to believe them it will be business as usual. God help us when we spy the Emperor without any clothes.

Yeah... I agree. I think silver and gold will be much more affordable by then. Our economy is slowly recovering and therefore we'll see this trend continue.
