last week I picked up 3 rolls of quarters just for the heck of it found a lonely little silver quarter. So the other day I went back with my roll searching cash stash and grabbed a hundred bucks worth and I just around to opening them today and this is what i found in the last roll and expected the same as the previous 9. But ended up with $6.75 and a clad proof Conneticut.
Customer wrap. The one last week though was N.F. String edit: I did get a little more exited knowing they were cwp's.
HALF of one roll was Silver? What were the dates on the other half? Got a snappic of the wrapper? I went through a box of quarters a few weeks ago (2,000), and found only 1 '64. And how do proofs get wrapped? Or even in circulation? I found one in a poker kitty a month or 2 ago here.......https://www.cointalk.com/threads/found-in-poker-kitty-last-night-proof-25.262856/
Just a regular ole quarter coin wrapper that you get with them chepo coin counter machines,But yes they were all together in the roll. Generally it's only 1-2 for every $300-$400 worth but quite streaky. Proof coins (all denoms) in rolls over the years I have found a few, also find em in pocket change from time to time.
