How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
Here is a good one just posted: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/what-is-going-on-with-these-nickles.347162/ But, it might duplicate the one above regarding nickles (spelling intentional)
Imagine looking up CoinTalk and setting up an account just to ask a question that could've been Googled less time. Then again, how many honest results are you going to get for "is my 1999 penny worth anything"?
I liked the one who ranted he been looking something up for an hour......and because he spent so much of his precious time could someone else do the referee ce work for him! Same dummy answered another newbie question on cleaning coins? His reply "don't do it" No explanation as to the why's and reasons not to clean a coin , answers to questions as such to a person who has come here with honest questions regarding coin collecting should be given the correct answer. And members here should call out ,and correct such a post. There's no reason one person should speak for the entire community at large.
Some probably think they are going to gain some knowledge by associating with other people sharing it. Sometimes it's a place for hobbyists to brag about how much they claim to know and belittle others. Sometimes it's worthwhile. Sometimes it's something else. Often it's akin to Google. I guess it's a mixed bag. Up to the person setting up the account and seeking knowledge I suppose.
I suppose I understand that. There are plenty of folks that come here in honesty looking for information, and that's a good thing. Just because it can get results on a web browser doesn't mean it is going to give you the answer you are looking for. I don't understand creating a user account on an online forum just to ask what the change closest to the computer at the time was worth.
According to the video I saw on youtube my pocket change is worth a lot of money...should I send it in to be graded..?
I can’t believe you all can’t see it! It’s plain as the nose on my face with my 1000X USB Microscope! Come on man! This coin is a Monster Double Die! I’m sending it in to be graded no matter what you idiots think!
