I just picked up a little bit of silver at 16 times face value, which is the best I have seen for a while. Maybe the premiums for physical silver are finally going down.

There are many new European issues' for silver and gold which sell around 2x the face value (i.e France 2009 10 Euro .78 oz of Silver sells for 30-40 dollars).

Curious, did you buy this from a private seller, coin ship, coin show, or online retailer? Online premiums don't seem to be going down. APMEX just got a new shipment of 2013 kooks (mintage 500,000) in and they are $3/oz more than the existing inventory of 2013 kooks with snake privy (limited mintage of 50,000). Perth Mint is upping their premiums if anything. Tulving is still charging $4/oz over spot for his 90%, what little is in stock.

It's a good way to save as it's less liquid than cash. I just thought that was a very clever way you put it. :thumb:
