I paid $370 for it. That makes @GoldBug999 the winner.

Here's one that I picked up a little while back. It had a lot of things going for it that really grabbed my eye. The first is that it is a Morgan, the second is that it's in a PCGS rattler holder and third, it's a label error. I have seen label errors on newer coins, but I have never seen a holder this old with a mechanical error.

Here's what it is, it's an 1898 Morgan in a PCGS MS-63 rattler holder labeled as an 1889. Both dates are common and command the same prices in the same grade. So what did I pay for this unique holder?

Yeah, but I'm sure the intake person sitting at the data entry position typed in 1889 into a field that then applied the PCGS number. The PCGS number for an 1898 is 7252 which would be far more difficult to mix up with 7188.

I guess another thing that could have happened is the intake person saw 1898 but in their mind thought 1889 and then entered the wrong code. It's all a guessing game now anyway. I'm just happy to be the new custodian. :)

I was starting to think I'd never win again.

Here's something I really have no clue what the 'value' is, but it is definitely about the holder. A similar set recently sold on ebay for $99, and there are others currently being offered anywhere from $89 to $165 (there may be others at different prices, but those are what I found).

It's a set of (2) 2014 JFK "Original High Relief 50th Anniversary Edition 2-coin Set First Release" halves, one (P) and one (D), both ANACS SP69, and they come in a pseudo-fancy velvet fitted case. Fancy, huh?

So what did I pay for the boxed set? (please forgive the very lame cell phone pics)
