Their sample is 1302376 - a Delaware 50SQ (MS67PL). But the Wayback Machine only caught the front, not the side or back.

Initially, they only graded US Mint Statehood Quarters, "assuring complete expertise and assurance in serving collectors and dealers involved in the fastest growing collectible coin category in the world!".

In September 2002 they announced that in addition to all US Quarters beginning with 1838 Seated Liberty, they had added Cents (1856FE & later), Nickels (1883 and later), ALL dimes, $2.5 gold (1834 and later) and $5 gold (1840 and later)

AT NO TIME DID THEY INDICATE THEY GRADED HALFS like @ddddd 's example!!

The 2003 captured page has "A Special Offer from Arthur Weinstein, President of Digital Coin Grading Service, Inc." at one point it was free collectibles with an anti-telemarketing service, then it was just the collectibles.

The late 2003 and 2004 captured page has the same content as "A Special Offer from Tom Seligman, Director of Digital Coin Grading Service, Inc."


it wasn't cheap - list price seems to have varied between $9 and $24.95/coin.

Anyway, that's more than enough information to search at the Florida Business Search...

Shows it was formed on 4/5/2001 and dissolved (failure to file) on 9/16/2005.

Registered agent was Mr. Seligman and the President Mr. Weinstein.

The 2002 Annual report lists a Vice President, Ms. Seligman and presumably home address as the principal place of business (Apt 1001 is a give away)

Mr. Weinstein is a fairly common name, although there is somebody of that name who published a numismatic article on one of the blogs.

Mr. Seligman has better traces... in addition to running something called "Distinctive Collectibles Gift Suppliers" (DCGS), he has three patents

If you know anything about patents, the diagrams are just illistrations, the meat is in the claims. In the '057 patent, the first claim is "1. A coin storage apparatus, comprising: a member having a planform that is associated with a particular state of the United States, wherein an opening in the member is sized and configured to receive a 1997 U.S. quarter; and"

(My invention, of course, is sized for a 1998 quarter and so doesn't infringe)
