Well it seems that no one came remotely close to the actual retail price paid! Thus I believe that the point should be given to me for stumping the players ,and I should be able to post another coin.
What does the rules committee say?
As the quesses are hundreds off...like double +....... actual price paid....:greedy:

Let’s hear the price and see who was closest. Then I’ll make a ruling :p

I never clicked on this thread before because I didn't know what it was. Out of curiosity this morning I did and I can see that this will be addicting!

    OK...

McKinney 1917 $1 gold commemorative, purchased: 3/9/2018 at the ANA NMS.

It’s Accugrade. It’s a PhotoSlab. It’s Accugrade #59, which I’ve never heard of before. 65, 91, several other #s sure. It’s a gold commemorative. So I had to buy it. Just had to.

The actual gold weight is 0.0484 oz, with a Melt value of $64.15 (3/12/2018).

Accugrade A3-63c... (Full strike, dull surface)

oh and for giggles, one of the labels is upside down!

The coin isn't bad, although I doubt is an MS63 (I really have no idea how to grade these):

    I'll say $350
    (raw AU/borderline UNC price)
...and I'll add that would be a good value!
