What I meant by "pseudo-end" was something that puts an end to life as we know it, but doesn't wipe out everyone.  Think of some sort of disease or event that decimates the world population by 99%.  That sounds like a lot, and it is, but there would still be 700 million people left.  Would PM's be worthless?  Were PM's worthless the last time there were 700 million people in the world?  (1700's)  Nope. I'm not certain about anything, and that's why I like to be prepared.[/QUOTE]
