In my case, my PM stash represents less than 1% of my family's total investment portfolio, but it's probably more than 99% of Americans have on hand. "Preparation" What's wrong with being prepared nowdays? I'm not talking about having a fallout shelter stocked with five years worth of food. I'm talking about taking reasonable steps that would help your family survive a natural disaster. Here in Montana, that pretty much means surviving a bad winter storm where the roads are impassable and the power is out for a week.
