    I don't get this tariff stuff. In the past it raised the prices we pay here in the US and most of those prices never went back down after the tariffs ended.

    I read that we have so many tax laws that are redundant and have been paid in multiples that we could almost pay our retiree's double.
    That sure is a recognition of an agreement to a treaty.

    I was paying over $3 dollars a gallon for gas at multiple times in my days. I also saw it go down to under a dollar in the past 5-6 years. The point to tariffs are getting the deal that favors you, if your bluff is called, the citizens pay that tariff, just so they can have the new gadget in their hands, sadly it is also on the foods we eat. Tariffs also create growth in the population that refuses to spend the absorbent prices. They start a business to provide a new 1 stop middleman.

    If they really do send 10,000 troops each to their borders, Musk better look into who's really paying for it. I don't believe for one second that Canada can afford to mobilize a platoon let alone 10,000 troops.
