I agree! The man didn't even realize they were missing and would not have known they were if they hadn't told him. I would have, at least, offered them a few of the coins for a reward and given them a chance to turn it down.
paddyman98 would have checked for errors first before returning them.. jus
wouldn't notice that I'd misplaced forty-six half-eagles, I guess I'd make less of a big deal about a $25K loss/discovery, too.
On another note, My wife and I personally would do the same and return the Coins . It's just how we are Sir. I was just pointing out how some people can act honest but are not totally i guess .

Agreed. He could have at least given him a gift card (under $50) to a take out restaurant. That would have been a kind show of gratitude. At least a show.
