Platinum and palladium production from Stillwater Mining's Montana operations was broadly flat on last year, the company said in its quarterly report. Mined production of palladium and platinum for the second quarter of 2013 totalled 131,500 oz compared with 133,400 oz in the prior year period. For the first six months of 2013, total mined production of 258,600 oz was up 1.7% from the 254,200 oz reported in the first half of 2012. Based on the results the company reiterated its full-year guidance for 2013 of approximately 500,000 oz of mined palladium and platinum.
