I know from a very good source the nuclear power plants are not connected to the internet. The offices at the nuclear power plant are connected but, nothing that can take control of the actual power plant is connected to the internet. If they were I'm sure someone would have already tried to hack the controls. What happened to the pipeline was because of pure stupidity on the people that control the pipe line. You would have thought they would be able to manual override the computer controls on the pipeline but, may be the people that operate the pipeline didn't think of that. I know from the mechanical side it could have been done but, it would take some mechanical knowledge to manually open valves and manually override the pumps. And people would have to stay on site to make sure everything was being watched. All it proves is that we are relying to much on automation and are not properly training the operators for a situation like that. Sadly it will happen again.

    John Skelton Morgan man!

Thanks for the clarification. I do agree, we are relying too much on automation. I was surprised to learn that the road signs used to tell drivers of road conditions have been hacked before into displaying silly messages. This, plus concerns over privacy, keep me away from Facebook, Siri, and Alexa.

How cute, Sleepy Creepy has his own coin, though it could be silver plated poop (poop emoji was censored)

I don't know how I missed this thread, but here I am catching up. It's certainly amusing!

Even when I had minor interest in rounds, it was only ASE's.

Regarding the face, I can see the somewhat vague similarity to Bush, but am I the only one who sees a dead-on accurate comparison to the banjo player in Deliverance?
