He'll also be cutting any existing ties with blockchain projects.</p><p><br /></p><p>Di Iorio pointed out that he had to travel with a security team anywhere he went since 2017.</p><p><br /></p><p>Ethereum co-founder didn't disclose his cryptocurrency holdings, but in 2018 Forbes estimated his net worth to be around $1 billion.</p><p><br /></p><p>Di Iorio co-founded ethereum in 2013. The cryptocurrency is now the second most popular behind bitcoin, last trading at $1,820.54, with a market cap of around $213 billion.</p><p><br /></p><p>This announcement came just days after Dogecoin founder Jackson Palmer Twitter comments last week.
