This comment from 2013 has some valid points today and im considering selling my silver because of massive silver and gold manipulation to the down side and yes crypto's are the future of digital currency which cant be stopped , money and forms of payment have changed over the years and this time is no different , the doom and gloom scenario just wont happen but is used to sell silver and gold and yes its yesterdays money just like horse and buggy was until Ford came in to change the way we get around etc.

I have been reading this link for some time, some links are to drum up business - I do not think BitCoin is a coin topic, not a April fool joke nor something we should have in this forum. Anyone agree with me, come on set me straight or should I go back to just reading anything put on this site and just be complacent. Got have a few rules.

While it is not a physical coin, it is currency/ a medium of exchange.
And in that regard it does qualify. And the discussion has been respectful.
If this topic doesn't interest you, then don't bother with the thread. There's plenty other things to read. If it needed to be removed, it would have been as it's already been 5 years.

and besides, we need threads like this to make our snide remarks & jokes, otherwise we would just be dumping on newbies & their "double dies" (read: invisible Doubled Dies)!:smuggrin::smuggrin::eek:;)

I saw an ad today for actual bit coins, Aluminum if I remember, copies of the Bitcoin symbol.
Kind of like Confederate currency, which is valuable now.
I used to see Confederate currency advertised in the backs of magazines. I could have had a $100,000 worth for like $100 back then.

The next big investment is going to be Lead
They're learning to manufacture lead into balloons to assist in drone passenger flight.
and they're accepting crypto from investors ... :nailbiting:   :D

I reread the thread and there's nothing offensive in here or violating forum rules.
There were a couple of link/coin dealer signatures. You don't need to click on those and I didn't find it too annoying.
