That's correct ... thus my statement "If you bought recently at highs .... then that's another issue."

It's like friends of mine that bought GoPro stock at a high. Then held on to it as the investment broker told them to buy going down. I told them to sell if lose 7%-11%. And I continued to tell them to sell as their broker told them to hold etc. They finally sold after a horrendous loss and fired the broker.

If you buy something as an "investment" then you also should have a plan of when to get out to preserve capital. It's like silver when it shot up above $30 and higher then floated lower and lower.

"Hope" doesn't count for much in investments.

My Spidey sense went off the 100 times I was tempted to buy any Crypto. Who knows if it will reach the numbers it did again but it looks like the skeptics were right.

    $0 would be a bottom.

Since it's not based on anything of intrinsic valuation ....

Actually, a little "bit" more than a 50% loss

Dow Jones is pulling another stinky today, but it doesn’t compare to bitcoin.

We had a mini flash crash in the stock market today. It fell 1,800 before coming back to 1,170. Get those shopping lists together — and buy in increments. Stocks are on sale.

Minor blip compared with the Black Monday drop on 19 Oct 87 - that day, the market took a 22.6% hit, 5770 points by today's valuation

Yeah, I bet those establishments which advertised as accepting payment in Bitcoin are marking up their goods like the delis and butcher shops were for German Marks, although not quite so frequently, or so fast.

Implied opening for Dow Jones (a factor of futures and fair value) is about 1,000 points lower at this juncture.
