True, maybe the big boys reacted faster, but the shorts in silver ETF had already increased due to the volatility discerned by CME. The "big boys" would have ran it higher due to silver euphoria before hitting the market before raising the margin , IMO. Why not let it go to $60 and then dump it to this level. </p><p><br /></p><p>My conclusion is that the pros were ready to flip to the down side, retail folks ( most of us) were not. In fact there are still several blogs and boards refusing to think it is anything more than a minor "correction". I think it is wrong to blame these events on other people or banks, etc. If a person has a big loss, it is their fault ( although I am sorry for them) for listening onlyto those who said silver to the $250, $500, etc. and did not want to listen to any voices on the other side.</p><p><br /></p><p>Imagine what would happen to any country who had currency based on silver <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie1" alt=":)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> Precious metals can not be used to back currency in this economic and political world.
