I don't think I seriously ever accused you of being the only person to post such articles on here.

I called you 2 dorks because it seems that when one of you posts something, the other is there to back them up. It's pretty consistent, and you should probably be happy that I didn't ask if you were lovers or something even more lame. I'm saving that for bkozak33, as he's the king of name calling, and projecting total nonsense.

Really, he referenced me directly and you jumped up and posted something to back him up.

What fun would that be? I posted what I do and why I believe what I believe, it's too bad that stuff is boring and it's easier for people to infer what they want to believe.

And you and Longnine, Inflexion, and others agree with each other and will constantly have similar posts. We know there are different "camps" in the pm section. Just because I agree with Mike on a lot of things, and just because you agree with Longnine, should we both be forbidden to post? Are you saying you only want you, Longnine, or Inflexion be able to post for the pm bulls, and the others forbidden to participate?

Right, but how often do you see me quoting their posts to back them up? You see, I don't need to have others think of believe the way I do, it's not important to me.

Again, sorry I referenced you Peace. I was only doing it because you said I was always the one to post such things here, effectively saying I was the one stirring the pot. Btw, I admit I have posted a lot of eggregious articles like this here, not to pick a fight with any pm bulls on this site, more to educate those who lurk on CT and might have also read the same articles. Most of them I post were from coinflation.com, a pretty popular bullion website. I simply wanted to try to educate the lurkers that I believe those articles were either misguided or self-serving. Coinflation.com raises the profile of the article, not me, I simply use CT as a means of refuting some articles assertions. I do not troll these websites myself just waiting to dig up some dreck to whine about.

Peace, I am trying real hard here, an article was posted, I responded, that is it. I still don't know your position on the article. How about if we put our differences aside, you state your position and back it up. Let's chat Silver......

You're trying real hard? After he references me directly, you posted about dodging all the rocks by yourself. Trust me, you're not alone when it comes to people that try to post their "truths" as they see them and seeing posters the way you want to.

It's nothing personal, I'm just really tired of posters trying to tell me who I am, what I am. what I've done, where I made mistakes, and why I'll repeat them. Some of those attempts, not by you, are so pathetic it's ridiculous. To top it off, the same fool continue to stalks me. Something I'm sure he wouldn't do if we were face to face, his keyboard courage is spectacular.

Well, the olive branch is offered, I am just not the enemy you may think. I just want to talk Silver and Gold, are opposing viewpoints really that bad? You may never agree with me, but so what? When I attack the idea, it is just that.

I'll post this one last time for you guys, and read into it only what I post.

It doesn't really matter to me whether silver goes up or down, or stays range bound. It's not that important to me. The reason is I speculate that I can select items that I can make money on to pay for the stack I have. To me, it's really that simple. I have purchased silver with spot from $12 to $35 . I've flipped a whole lot of it to pay for what I've kept, and I will continue to do so.

I also believe that we'll get another run in PMs, whether we do or not remains to be seen. I still believe that PMs are manipulated, not in the way the tards post "a seller of last resort showed up to cap the rally", but in more of a quiet method to be much less obvious that these guys report. I don't read those guys because that book is the same every time and they're welcome to wallow in their tears, I refuse to do that. I'm not going to blame anybody for my decisions and their ramifications. I deal with them daily, I made the decision and I live with the results.

Silver goes up, it goes down and it seems to be worth more than I paid for it overall. Plus I have saved some money in another form that I can use some time. I think of it as the poor man's hedge fund. It's like insurance in case of inflation. I intend on selling it slowly after I retire in 4 years. It's going to be a little income in the future.

We are all in the same boat. I hope no one here ever takes what I post personally, (well most people here). There have been a few "silver will be $116 an ounce in six months time, and I have proof" people that I objected to. I did go out of my way to disprove this theory, not to embarrass them but so hopefully others did not buy into what they were saying. Short of that, I never try to insult anyone on what they have bought and why. Its not my place. I honestly only object to some sales scare tactics that have been the bread and butter of the pm industry for longer than many here have been alive. I saw them in the 70's, but with the internet they are much more common.

Do I believe there will be another spike? Of course, most commodities tend to do that. Do I have a clue when? Nope. So, I will not rely on it, since it might happen after my timeframe of pm ownership. So, knowing that, I evaluate pm on its fundamentals and what good it does me overall for my portfolio.

However, if you can flip pm at any market level and make a profit, that does not really have anything to do with what we talk here about. We mainly talk here about long term investing. If you can flip today and make a buck, good for you man, (and I mean that, unlike some Americans I honestly love hearing when others are doing well and making money).

Was just trying to break the ice, hoping this thread takes a more positive theme.

There are some interesting topics here.

About the same as always. These things always end up too heated unfortunately. I love people are passionate about pm, I always have been, but we let that passion overflow at times.

Makes for spirited debate of which I'm always eager to digest. Both sides equally. :)

What I've learned is that nobody knows what the price is going to do, other than maybe a few insiders but even they might not know given the global scale of the gold and silver markets. (and I'm quite certain they aren't posting on any forums).

Its fun to guess though, my guess for end of year silver price is 27.23

I am waiting on silver to break below $17.00 dollar then I'll pull the trigger on amending my target price. Well that is the way I have always done it.
