Wow.... I have only ever carried mine to my dealer buddy..... You have any coin shows coming up in your area in the foreseeable future? I wouldn't have a clue how to deal with the internet guys.

Local Coin Shop or online coin shop as they will give you a quote price which they'll stick with. But with online you have to insure, track and pay for postage. So selling local is far more convenient and probably most profitable.
But from seeing the market expect spot at best, or more likely spot minus -$$.

If you're in the middle of nowwhere .. good question ... a local prepper ??

Do you know of any reputable places IN Syr? The last sale I made was in Liverpool and I was not impressed. He gave me bullion price for silver encapsulated coins and 1600 for gold when spot was 2050.00

They weren’t even buying in Liverpool when I stopped in back in October. The owner had gone to the bank to get $ for payroll. The Jr partner said too many sellers, not enough buyers. Gotta have deep pockets to play buy and hold
    I just walked out

Many years ago I sold a bunch to Provident so I went through all the pain of packaging, insuring, waiting, etc to get my money.
I have a LCS and a few better bullion only coin (and jewelry) shops in my area which are better for selling large quantities of silver/gold.
My "normal type" LCS back in the day didn't have the $$ to buy some stuff from me but the other place did.

Try Craigslist. Be careful and don't let them come to your home. Meet in a safe place like your bank or a police station.

People may be wary of fakes and such too,
or try to convince one that they have fakes and want it for dirt cheap.

    My 2 local places...
The newest shop was $6 back from spot on .999 and 75% of spot on 90%.

The older established shop was $13 back from spot on .999 and wasn't buying % silver at this time.

Wow that's an eye opener, usually the older shop was a little back but not that much.
I did have some scrap gold a few months back that I price checked and they were 25% back of spot on 18k.
Makes you wonder if they aren't working as much BUT making the same amount of money.
The Owner was away and the counter person said that's the pricing that the owner called in this morning.

"Sell the news" (or pop) works successfully 80% of the time with stocks. But we are in uncharted waters with PMs. Buying popcorn and enjoying the show.:D

I think a lot of people are getting nervous. It's been so much so fast. Usually when you see a rise this quickly in any market there's going to be some pull back and people don't want to be left holding the bag. Nowadays even staying back of spot X amount is still a lot of money compared to just a few months ago. Really interesting to watch this.

I don't have a magic 8 ball but I would hold off selling any silver for at least 3 months. Unless you are a dealer working on slim margins, I would definitely hold out. There is a short squeeze in the making, the institutions that have been suppressing the price might just getting the FO after them FA for all of these years.

Over $71.40 for a close. Works for me but it’s going higher. I know I’ve said that before but I was correct.

3 years ago I talked to a high school friend who had been a stock broker for years and asked his thoughts about gold and silver. He told me to claw and hang on to every piece I had. His advice was by the year 2030 came around, we were going to be shocked at the valuations coming. So far he is Nostradamus.

With the things I see and can’t discuss due to the rules and my desire to repay active member, I agree 100% with him. It will have its ups and downs but I can live with that.
