I don't think we will see $50.00 for awhile if at all! I'm thinking $25.00- $30.00 maybe within 18 mos.
IMO Silver is going up due to a poor stock market. for the last 4 years I have been buying as much silver as I could afford Got over 200 40% silver Ikes last spring for around 4.00 each including Proofs, the silver alone now is worth over 1200.00. Picked up 50 Morgans EF, AU and UNC a few weeks ago at 11.00 each. Maybe its time to sell
With all the silver coins that are being melted down and sold, you'd think that would start driving up the book value on these coins. I guess that will happen after the smoke clears, once this crazy precious metal cycle cools down... "What do you mean I have the only 1964 Kennedy half left?!"
most of my silver wouldnt get much of a premium but i wouldnt dare melt them. i love my silver coins. i love the clinking sounds they make. since i was only born in 74 i still have a hard time believing these were used as actual money.

Went into my local coin shop wanting to buy one Morgan this past Saturday, but didn't have a whole lot of money. So I started to dig through my collection and found two 1oz silver rounds. The local coin shop gave me $17.17 for each one. I didn't think that was a bad price. What does everyone think? I ended up with a 1878cc and 1883cc..... not for $17.17 of course, but it every dollar counts!!! My first Carson City dollars! The coin shop is like Walmart to me.... you go in with one thing in mind and you end up coming out spending a lot more money than you planned! LOL
