I prefer both gold and silver and own both as well. Gold and silver are like family and family belongs together... otherwise you might get shafted when the might dollar dives! lol

I prefer gold. I'm not an avid buyer of the American gold eagle, however I just purchased the 2015 5.00 proof. The MS version with narrow reeds is going for 950.00 on ebay. Which brings me to another question. How did NGC get the uncirculated version? All I see for sale are the proofs. The 1 oz gold uncirculated isn’t slated for release until the end of April. I don’t see a release date for the others.

The gold/silver ratio is up to over 73, so I think I prefer silver at this point. It has further to run, and will make it back to 60 or so eventually. I think...

I'm like 'Goldfinger' in that James Bond movie---I LOVE ONLY GOLD!!

But, I settle for silver---very small amounts of silver:depressed:

I have always liked silver, because it's closer to my budget. I can buy some silver for anywhere from $1.00 (war nickels) to $25 (silver dollars), so it is possible for me. I am a little concerned that it keeps bouncing around, but it seems to be hanging somewhere between $15 and $18 lately.
