It&#039;s long been paid off.&nbsp; The house pays a level of insurance that I&#039;m comfortable with. </p><p><br /></p><p>On a few other things I debate insurance/maintenance contracts versus the potential cost of a potential future failure of some type.&nbsp; And usually avoid those contracts as I&#039;d rather have the cash buildup vs an insurance system that&#039;s bound to disappoint.</p><p><br /></p><p>PMs are pretty.&nbsp; They &quot;hold&quot; wealth.&nbsp; They&#039;ll never replace cash, as they have to be converted to cash first. They&#039;ll be a few ppl who understand PMs for barter but that would be far down the list from water, ammo, etc in those type of disasters.&nbsp; In case of those type of disasters, the entire electronic &quot;PM spot&quot; systems won&#039;t be working anyways so PMs may hold no value unless in coinage, at face value.&nbsp; But who knows about the unknown.&nbsp; You can only reference other disasters as a reference to what has happened with PMs, cash, etc.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
