I've got vacations to pay for soon and a wedding ring to get! My PM quest will have to be put on hold unless it was an offer I just couldn't refuse.
Whoever keeps a sound distance. That's a distance that as loud as she wants to yell, I can't hear a sound.
The only problem for me is the effect on my coin collecting. My soon to be fiance doesn't get it so I am limited to less expensive coins to collect. She understands bullion investing, but not coin collecting which I am really trying to get her to see things my way.
Look for interesting design Bullion Coins such as the 1926 Oregon Trail silver half dollar. Just get a big red book and flip through the pictures with her. ..
I'm lucky. It is actually my wife who suggested, many years ago, looking at gold and silver as long term investments instead of unstable financial instruments. As a result she trusts me to only buy bullion and coins which I believe have a long term potential for a return on investment. I still stick to this principle 90% of the time but she has allowed me to expand to numismatic items without any questions, even if those items do not expect a return commensurate with inflation. I could probably buy half a million dollars worth of material without complaint. Alas, I have only a very small fraction of that to spend.
Count your blessings buddy! Sometimes I think my wife is better than me at the investing game. We're a helluva team!
I love that coin. I have that one too and many other notable designs. pics taken from yesterdayschange.com TEXAS OREGON TRAIL
