The Eagle on this is what drove me to Silver Half Dollars, the capped bust to be specific as it has the same-ish eagle on it, though wings not extended.

FYI, if you think it's small, you should look into the $1 gold coins. I have a few, they are tiny, about 13mm in diameter.

yeah, I was expecting that to happen. I'm still on the sidelines .. watching the indicators of a jump back in time ...

and gold premarket was below $1200 again
BUT silver is actually below $14/oz. I wish I could get some ASEs for spot.

I'd love to see Platinum go under $800 an ounce. Not for the value of what I currently own .. ouch ... but to buy some more.

of course, I've been spending money upgrading my bicycle to Campagnolo Super Record. So I don't think I'll have any coinage money any time soon to take advantage of PM prices.

So, I wonder how Mr Mike will be pricing his 2019s on TV. Maybe a break to $99.99 for an ANACS MS70, plus $9 shipping?

luckily I went contrarian a while ago.
Those are up and have been going up. :)
if those start to stall, flat line, and drop whilst the rest of the market is dropping then we'll have a real problem on our hands.

But here's the real clickbait news of the day ==> https://www.marketwatch.com/story/d...fresh-pumpkin-for-your-pumpkin-pie-2018-11-20

Man it's a bloodbath out there at the opening bell.
I was expecting more inflows into metals as a long-time holder of wealth. But it seems more are going into cash, so they can quickly get back into the market when needed versus having to convert the metals to cash, then get back into the market (duh, eh?).

gonna be a long day for most ppl.

my one investment was up 16 cents yesterday and looks like it will be up again today. But I'm projecting it to go flat/downturn probably within 10 days (last down turn took a few months after significant market turmoil) of which I'll just roll it to cash and be 100% cash at that point. Maybe time to just totally watch on the sidelines ....

According to this article (link below), "Comex in New York, which last week clocked a daily average of 34 ounces (of Silver) per day." trading.

so they trade 34 ounces of Silver per day.

So .. CT members far outstrip COMEX in silver trading !! Maybe the CT owners will initiate a trading desk !!

and the London desk did "The LBMA’s data showed that an average daily 30.2 ounces of gold was traded that week. "

okay, they got their numbers mixed up .. should be over 370million oz Silver.
still a funny article to read with it's gold and silver numbers all messed up.

and there's the afternoon momentum selling ...
    upload_2018-11-20_15-13-18.png

maybe it will bounce with a bunch of buys at the end.
but I think the fund companies are clearing out their customer sells for the day.
Just hope it doesn't dump further.

Crypto - I really think Crypto is dead. What does it offer as a payment solution beyond what Square, Paypal/Venmo, Zelle and all the other instant payment systems provide to the buyer? I recall starting to see "Bitcoin accepted here signs" but I haven't seen one in a while now which at least locally, shows a retraction of acceptance. I wonder how Japan, South Korea, etc all that embraced it before the rampup are handling it (and all the crypto 401Ks that cropped up).
