I have cd's but that is all in your list, I still have a cd walkman, lol No cash or investments to speak of though.
I still have a cassette tape walkman around. I also have the first Sony walkman radio headset that ran on 2 AAA batteries. It still works too, though the foam ear cushions have long deteriorated. Cash is the first step for any type of purchase/investment. I build up cash then move into investments or coins etc. My SQ lost 8 points the last couple days. It's up today. But 500 shares ... that's a big $$ swing. but I'm way above breakeven anyways so I'm letting it run ...
actually it's very tempting to stack. I've been wanting to buy some 1/4oz gold US Modern Commem - they're cheap at $316 right now. But I also want to save up and buy some more pre-33 double eagles. But I'm too cheap for that too ... LOL
wow One of the Cheapest BU ASE is $19.04 .. that's a $3 premium. Premiums are up ... price has been about the same over $19 each for a while now irregardless of how low spot goes. I remember I bought one tube at $140 ... a long time ago. I wonder if it's gonna go back down to that ? hahahaha I've been attempting to find current Silver & Gold ETF info that is current. Gold ETFs in Feb lost 5.1 tons of gold from redemptions/sales. I'm expecting the same is occurring as demand is slipping based upon all the metrics.
I got an APMEX eBay mail about 10:15 this morning offering American Gold Eagles for 24 hours at $9.95 over spot. That’s usually when I’ll consider buying a AGE. Not today, however. A lot of other people had the same idea I did. By the time I opened the mail at 11:15, they were sold out.
Any regret I might have felt over selling that pair of double eagles at the last coin show is pretty much gone at this point.
I lowballed an offer on some Platinum the other day .. just before it sank. The guy didn't sell. now my lowball would be spot + more premium than my original offer. Oh well for the seller. But I heard a rumor that it'll bounce back.
well here's some positively completely Good News! I think, well, depends upon how you read it. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/why-golds-losing-streak-may-get-even-worse-2018-06-28

For the "gold is going to hit $25,000 an ounce in 2018" crowd. I wouldn't mind see $800 oz myself rebuild my St Gauden collection.
