Hello all just joined. I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous to myself Oh also excited that Fun Convention is in my neck of the woods next year, never been. So on with my question. Why did the mint decide a different reverse from the original Walker?
First, welcome to the neighborhood! If I had to make a guess about the SAE, I would think that it was because this was never intended to be a circulating coin, and as a bullion coin, it made more sense to make it different. Granted, the Walker obverse has always been a favorite, but let's face it, there are many ways to make the eagle look nice. Chris
Yeah I love that original reverse Thanks for the reply As for pics I have a rotary cell phone enough said about that
No you misunderstood me or I just wasn't typing it right The Bullion Eagle has a different reverse than the Halve and since I love that reverse and they changed it to in my opinion a very average reverse I wondered why Oh my second favorite reverse is the 1936 Ct com. Art deco baby
